Discover Torquay’s rich cafe culture, ship wreck history and iconic esplanade with the Foreshore Trail.

This a popular and accessible walk from the main heart of Torquay is perfect for post lunch strolls or evening sunsets.

The Foreshore Trail includes section two of the Surf Coast Walk. It is fully accessible and provides the walker with beautiful views of Fisherman’s Beach and Front Beach, as it winds past sand dunesand playgrounds, with regular access to the beach.

You will pass a local artist’s impression of the ‘Inverlochy’ Figurehead and the large anchor of the ‘Joseph H Scammell’ vessel wrecked off Point Danger. At Point Danger you can enjoy spectacular views and visit the war memorial before continuing along the coast to the Torquay Surf Life Saving Club.
